Welcome to Alice's Blessed Insanity! Here, you will find the daily humor and challenges of raising three small children. I am a full time stay-at-home mom who tries to look at the lighter side of what life dishes out to me. Sometimes I take off on a rant about politics, beliefs, or some other varied subject. Just bare with me and I will move along. I would classify myself as a fairly conservative, very much pro-life Christian. Everyone has their opinions and you are completely entitled to one here. However, I try not to debate as I just don't have the time or energy for it. Generally if I don't agree, I will simply say so and thank you for your comments. As long as you are civil and good to me, I'll be good to you. It's nice to have you here and I look forward to having you back!

I've been a slacker the past few days and haven't updated my journal. Sometimes I just get too lazy to even write; isn't that awful?
We went to the wedding on Saturday evening and it was beautiful. However, it was tainted by an unbelievable occurence! It seems that while the happy couple was getting married, a lady came in and asked someone where everyone had gotten dressed. She walked downstairs while the service was going on and stole wallets, cameras, money, etc. The poor couple was over 1 1/2 hours late for their own reception and had to get there in the back of a police cruiser as everyone had left and forgot they didn't have a way!
Now the happy couple is enjoying a cruise in the Bahamas. I certainly hope that they manage to skirt Hurricane Wilma and any effects of it. Talk about rotten luck
I received a phone call from the lady I met in the store a few weeks ago yesterday. I had been meaning to call her, but kept forgetting (and so had she). We had a nice chat and are planning on taking our kids to the park tomorrow for a picnic and some play time. I was very happy to hear from her and hope that I can plant a vibrant new flower in my friendship garden.
I found the coolest site today. It is called uroulette.com and it simply allows you to surf random websites. Once you go through the list it provides, click refresh to get a new list. So far, I have found several very good sites with this tool: The complete works of Mark Twain, CyberHymnal, & Shockwave Games. I am going to keep track of the really good ones and post them here from time to time.
Before I go to bed, I will share with you a quote that Rich and I saw on a church sign the other day. Ironically, it was on the way to the wedding:
"Trust in the Lord, but lock your doors"
